The Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall in Singapore's Civic District is a historic landmark with a rich history. Originally known as the Town Hall, it was constructed between 1855 and 1862. The adjacent Victoria Memorial Hall, built to honor Queen Victoria, was completed in 1905. The complex is unified by a high clock tower and has been a venue for various public events, political meetings, exhibitions, and performances. The complex was gazetted as a national monument on February 14, 1992, and has undergone several renovations and refurbishments, most recently in 2010. The complex is managed by Arts House Limited and continues to be a vital part of Singapore's cultural landscape.
